Tequila Corrido

The Name "Corrido" comes from the poetic ballads sung by smugglers who risked everything to peddle tequila in prohibition-era border regions.  Many of the early corridos celebrated these border bandits and fold heroes - telling tales of triumph and tragedies along trails and around campfires.  The spirit is barrel-aged in its Arandas distillery and available in three flavors, Tequila Corrido Blanco, Tequila Corrido Reposado, and Tequila Corrido Añejo.  

Our ballad starts with hand selecting Mexico’s finest Blue Weber agave from the highlands of Jalisco, Mexico.  Picked for maximum maturity and sugar content, our agave pinas are slow cooked to perfection and then placed in a mill to extract the sweet agave nectar.  Then we introduce 100 percent all0natural agave yeast to develop the intricate flavors of Tequila Corrido.  As one of only a few tequilas with no additives our refined, double-distilled approach and precise barrel aging process ensures each batch is meticulously crafted every time.
